Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Going the Distance for Brain Injury Run. An event of this magnitude could not happen without our many generous and kind volunteers who make sure the race is smooth and fun for everyone.

We need volunteers on race day and Packet Pickup, May 26,27 & 28. We welcome both volunteer groups and individuals. Click here for Online Volunteer Registration. In the meantime, please call Amy at 913-754-8883 for more information.

 

Race Day Volunteer Schedule. We need help in the following areas: Please click on the area you would like to participate in for more information. 

Race Day Set Up (5:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
Race Day Late Registration (6:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.)
Water stations (7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.)
Finish Line Water Station (7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.)
Finish Line Chip Clippers (8:00 a.m – 9:30 a.m)
Kiddie Dash (9:45 a.m. –- 10:30 a.m.)
Course Monitor (7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.)
Food Stations (7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.)
Break Down (10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.)

* Please keep in mind limited parking in the Loose Park area. Plan to carpool and arrive early if you can!
* Unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, the minimum age requirement is 14.
